Frog

Been working on some more illustrator stuff. I love frogs, and the Red eyed tree frog has been my favorite for a really long time. Their colors are fantastic and fresh!

Groose and Impa

Some Skyward Sword fan art. The game is a blast to play and I loved the cutscenes. I saw some ImpaXGroose fanart floating around the web. I thought they were a cute couple too. So I drew them dressed up and dancing together.

Squirelephant

Drawing characters on textures again... I always enjoy big clunky elephants, he's mixed with a bit of squirrel.

I liked Moroccan decor so I used that as my theme.

I also played with designing stackable objects such as pillows.

These are the elemental gods of "JaguarVille" who unlocks powers for the user's character.

This was a great figure drawing group of artists/models that would meet every Sunday. We'd all pose for each other and just draw for hours. I'm still looking for something like this in Germany.

Knight Lucus

He's completed for now. Added in some more feather detail.

RIP my sweet degu

I drew this yesterday after I got the email that my degu passed away. My mom told me she had found her under her log and snuggled up to one of the socks I gave her for nesting. She would never tear up the sock she would use them as blankets in her little log house.

I got her 9-10ish years ago with her two sisters. The sisters passed away wayyyyy before she did.

She had a busy life in her cage scratching, chewing, running on her wheel, storing food, and building her nest over and over again. She seemed happy to be on her own and would chirp along with the birds outside.

She was secretive and never wanted to be held.

But that's okay.

I hope you made it up to the big wheel in the sky with your sisters dear Degus.

Lucus the Rooster Knight

I figured out a name for him, "Lucus".

I'm rendering him in illustrator now using the pen tool. It's been really fun playing with the gradients and colors. In my game concept he has to collect his armor, this it how he levels up. The rest of the story and gameplay is still being worked out on paper, but for now I'll be finishing him up in illustrator.

I have yet to render the rest of his body.

My secret

 

I don't like to mention that I have a third eye, but I guess I should since quite a few people I've met recently, pointed it out. It happened when I started high school.. you know those "awkward teenage years" what first started out as a pimple grew into what looked like eyelids. I didn't REALLY put much thought into it because things like pimples appeared on my face quite regularly. One morning I got up to get ready for school. I noticed I wasn't looking out of two eyes anymore. I was looking out of THREE.

When I went into the bathroom to look in the mirror I was surprised to see another eye on my forehead. My sight out of my third eye was pretty blurry from what I remembered. I quickly cut my hair into long bangs and covered it up to not get teased or gawked at. 

After graduating high school and avoiding all torment. I decided to keep the hair out of my face and reveal my secret third eye.

Well if you know me and haven't noticed my third eye, I have to say that's pretty amazing. If you have and just haven't mentioned it I'm glad too because I'm a bit sensitive talking about it. But I figure I should talk about it now.
